In 2003, two friends joined together to create their dream. Wanting to build careers within the art of memory preservation, Tammy Lynn Charbonneau and Lisa Lee joined forces to launch the online scrapbooking web site we have all grown to love. Pages of the Heart officially launched on March 13th, 2003 with its initial members being close friends from email newsgroups and other communities on line. Not long afterwards, Pages of the Heart selected its very first design team of five very talented ladies. Together, with their team, Tammy Lynn and Lisa Lee worked to encourage people to become members and active participants at Pages of the Heart.

In May 2003, the first Digital Design Team Members were added to Pages of the Heart in hopes of adding a new and unique experience for all scrapbookers, both traditional paper scrappers as well as digital scrappers alike. Since that time, the Pages of the Heart Digital Community has grown to represent a wide variety of software, styles, and talents.

On October 17th, 2003, Elemental, a division of Pages of the Heart, was launched. Elemental was created for individuals who wanted to sell their scrapbooking art work. This unique scrapbooking consignment store offers both paper crafted items as well as a large variety of download on demand digital artwork. In just a few short months, Elemental had become a success. As the premier digital downloads consignment store, Elemental continues to grow as well as provide an incredible amount of digital designs for the Computer Scrapbooking community.

Sadly, in November 2003, Tammy Lynn left Pages of the Heart to pursue new scrapbooking ventures on her own. Tammy Lynn and Lisa still remain the best of friends and share joy in each others lives. Tammy Lynn remains a dedicated member and fan of Pages of the Heart.

Today, Pages of the Heart is recognized as one of the leading scrapbooking communities. A place that anyone can come and feel at home, from someone who is just starting to scrapbook to the most seasoned scrapbooker. The talented Pages of the Heart Team currently consists of 20 Traditional Paper Design Team Members, 12 Digital Design Team Members, and 6 Moderating Team Members. This very dedicated team is proud to offer many resources and activities to the Pages of the Heart Members and site visitors. Offering a large variety of articles and tutorials, an active message board and layout gallery, and many other features, both the traditional and digital scrapbooking community have come to respect the high level of dedication and commitment Pages of the Heart has to the scrapbooking world.
