1. Cut a 6x6 inch square from cardstock, cut another square 1 ½ inch from outside sides of square.

2. Apply double-sided tape around the frame; in this case I used carpet tape.

3. Remove tape backing. Be careful everything seems to find it's way onto sticky tape.

4. Draw your words on the tape with a marker. (Don't worry it'll be covered with foil soon)

5. Apply hemp cording over top your letters, the hemp will stick to the tape and stay in place. You can now add any other embellishments, such as punches, mesh, etc. (when applying Magic Mesh make sure the sticky side is up, so it will stick to the foil).

6. Cut a piece of tin foil larger than the square, approximately 6 ½ x 6 ½. Crinkle tin foil and place over the front of the frame (cover up your work).

7. Wrap excess foil around the back of the frames edge and through the center. Glue or apply more tape to adhere the foil to back.

8.Gently rub around the embellishments with the eraser tip of a pencil (or a finger nail or anything with a soft). Be careful the foil tears easily.

9. Take a black brush marker or stamp ink and apply to top of foil frame in and around the designs.

10. Using a sponge gently rub the foil lifting some of the ink. Some ink should remain in the creases, if not apply more ink and repeat the process until desired effect is achieved.

11. Ta…da… you're finished.
