- Make sure the item you are chalking is on a layer all by itself and have your layer palette window open (windows- layers).
- Click on the little button that looks like an "f".
- Select the INNER GLOW option- a new menu will appear.
- Play with the settings I have made here and choose what ever colour you wish your chalking to be - you can play with the noise and opacity settings to get the desired effect - the main thing to remember is to make sure edge is selected rather than center- The choke and size will adjust the thickness of the shading
