*The following instructions are for Microsoft Word 2003 Pro. Other versions or software may vary, but you should be able to complete this task in a similar manner in most word processing programs.


5. Double click the edge of the text box and a “Format Text Box”
dialog box should appear.

7. Change the fill color to black (or another suitable, dark color).

8. Click OK. The box should appear solid black (or whatever color
you chose).

NOTES:
- This technique can be used with any color if a color printer is available. White text can still be achieved on black if a color print is not available.
- This look is perfect for creating the look of a chalkboard, especially if you use a child-like font.
