Gold leafing looks elegant with just about any stamp design you use, from bold images to detail images.
1 With Embossing Buddy, swipe across black card stock.
2. Ink stamp with VersaMark.
3. Stamp on black cardstock.
4. Pour a liberal amount of Sticky Powder over image and tap excess off the card.
5. With heat gun, heat image just until image gets a shiny look. Do not over heat as gold leaf flakes will not adhere.
6. Either dump a liberal amount of gold leafing or put card in plastic container that has the gold leaf flakes inside and lightly press flakes into image.
7. With either a small paint brush or stencil brush, using a push motion, push off excess flakes. You can save these to be reused. When you have removed all the loose flakes, buff or polish the image with a used dryer sheet. You may embellish as desired.
8. Gold leafing stands alone very well or a simple edge of gold around the card with the Krylon pen makes an elegant looking card.
