Father’s Day is all about the Dads in our lives, right? But most of us end up with many Dads to celebrate on this holiday – our own fathers, grandpas, fathers-in-law, the dads to our children, our sons who have become daddies themselves, or even a father figure. Below are three projects that will help make this holiday even more special for all the Dads you are honoring this year. They all share a similar style and use some common supplies so that they are easy to create at once. Enjoy!

Father’s Day Tag Mini Album
Using one sticker as a guide, this tag-shaped mini album makes the perfect card/gift combo for Father’s Day. It only takes a few minutes to complete and it’s a great way to use some of your scraps!
BASIC SUPPLIES:
Large tag sticker – “Father Tag Alongs”, Deluxe Designs
Ivory cardstock (I used scraps!)
Some ribbon, string or fibers

NOTES:
For my album, I opted to go with an intentionally messy (very messy!) look. I began by covering the pages/tags with acrylic paint. I used various colors (which I chose based on the sticker used on the cover). I mainly dry brushed for a really messy look. Keep in mind, when using acrylic paints that if you don’t own the exact color you want, you can use some basics to mix a color that matches what you need. I find this to be the most fun part!
I printed several pictures in small sizes, appropriate for the album. I slightly sanded the edges of each one and attached them to the tag pages after the paint was dry.
Using “royal blue” ink by Rubber Stampede and “Printer’s Type” alphabet stamps by Hero Arts, I added words and phrases near each photo. I hand wrote a greeting on the back.
Then I simply added all the fun “extras” including things such as: tag sticker, ribbon, spiral clip, mesh, buttons, colored staples, and fibers. Decorate as simply or as crazy as you’d like!!
For an extra worn look, I also chose to sand most parts of this album, including the background, stickers, edges, and photos.
