The design team is back bringing you multiple takes on the same sketch. Our newest sketch is designed by Charity Hassel.
This sketch provides lots of options when it comes to pictures and journaling placement.

| Designed by Cahrity Hassel. Supplies: Bazzill Cardstock; Chatterbox Sunroom Patterned paper; Doodlebug Inc, Artic Frog and Christina Cole |
In "Naturally Sweet" Charity has stayed true to the sketch. She notes: I used this sketch to show off three wonderful pictures of my son. I turned the photos black and white. I also cropped the two side pictures to add more drama. The right side of his face is shown for the right picture and the left side of his face is the focus of the left picture. My pictures were formatted in a computer program so that I could space them correctly and measure the pictures to match. The set of three pictures was printed directly onto white cardstock for more texture and because I wanted to keep the pictures exactly how I had arranged them on the computer. Next I cut strips of patterned paper and placed them above and below the set of pictures being careful to balance the colors and the weight of the designs. I purposely placed the white stickers over the picture to provide more contrast. I also used white for the word sugar because sugar is white. The bottom embellishment was made by cutting a large green circle from Bazill carstock then placing the Christina Cole sticker on top. I liked the fact that the black and white sticker complimented the black and white pictures. I simply eyed the page and placed letter stickers around the green circle for “naturally sweet”.

In "RUGRATS" Sassette has turned the sketch on it's side, which works wonderfully for her 12x12 format.

| Designed by Kim Demmon. Supplies: Kraft paper cardstock; White MM acrylic paint; Circle stamp; Ranger distressing ink; Diecuts with a View Retro Patterned paper; Lil Davis bonny mead foam stamps; Cloud 9 designs-The Wood Stone collection Cat stickers. |
Kim has also turned the sketch it's side and has made a few adjustments to be able to include another picture. This is a perfect example of adopting a sketch and making it your own.
 |
| Designed by Barbara Snyder. Supplies: POTH August Heart Snips kit and Arial Rounded font. |
Barbara has used the sketch to complete an All About Me layout for the Pages of my Life Challenge "Pet Peeves". You may notice her version does not contain any pictures, I think this shows that they aren't always mandatory when you have something to say. She notes: I chose a black background to further highlight the bright colors of the paper and tags, and applied a paper damage brush to it to continue the theme of torn and crumpled elements.
