Detinting a Photo Using Microsoft Picture It! Photo Version 6.0

- Click on your photo that you wish to detint.
- Click on crop or trim - then create a cutout.
- Click on tracing an area on my own.
- Zoom in really close and using your mouse, draw around the shape that you want to keep in color.
- When you are done, click on the yellow diamond.
- Click Next.
- Make certain that the area that you want to remain in color is highlighted. If not, click on select opposite area.
- Also, click on the box that says Leave it in the original project.
- Click done.
- Now, click on the part of the picture that you want to make black and white.
- Click on Photo and color effects, then color or texture, then black and white.
- Click on the apple that makes it black and white.
- Voila! You should now have a detinted photo!
