Detinting a Photo Using Microsoft Picture It! Photo Version 6.0

  1. Click on your photo that you wish to detint.



  2. Click on crop or trim - then create a cutout.



  3. Click on tracing an area on my own.



  4. Zoom in really close and using your mouse, draw around the shape that you want to keep in color.

  5. When you are done, click on the yellow diamond.

  6. Click Next.



  7. Make certain that the area that you want to remain in color is highlighted. If not, click on select opposite area.

  8. Also, click on the box that says Leave it in the original project.



  9. Click done.

  10. Now, click on the part of the picture that you want to make black and white.

  11. Click on Photo and color effects, then color or texture, then black and white.



  12. Click on the apple that makes it black and white.



  13. Voila! You should now have a detinted photo!
