The Topper

Supplies:

Cardstock
Chalk: Craft-T
Brad, Tag: Making Memories
Alpha beads, Glass Beads: Create-A-Craft
Pearlized Straight Pins: Prym
Wire, Charm: The Beadery
Letter & Number Stickers: 10-Mrs. Grossman's, You-David Walker, I-FMI
Label: Dymo

Instructions:

• Cut cardstock to desired sizes, and then tear edges of pink cardstock.
• Spritz pink cardstock with water and crumple. Straighten out and iron if desired.
• After the pink paper is dry, chalk the torn edges with red chalk, and chalk around the edges of the white paper with pink chalk.
• Cut a length of wire and thread the glass beads and letter beads onto it to spell out the word "things." Use round nose pliers at the ends to keep beads in place.
• Make label and staple it to the heart appliqué.
• After placing stickers onto the tag, attach it to the pink cardstock with a mini brad.
• Attach beaded wire to pink cardstock with pearlized straight pins. Hint: after poking pins through the paper, snip off sharp ends with wire cutters.
• Finish attaching stickers for the words "I" and "you" and write the word "about."
• Attach pink cardstock to the white cardstock.
• Loop the charm onto the spiral clip and attach the clip to the corner of the topper.
