Weekly Sketch #4
I did this week's sketch with stampers and scrappers in mind because it is very versatile and easy to work with!
The small square in the lower right is a great focal point for different embellishments such as stamped images, tags or pre-made items. I have used all three in the samples below.

The $1 card -
This card uses a $1 stamp from Michael's along with some patterned paper from Target's "Dollar Spot". A bit of magic mesh adds texture. I colored the shoe image with Pearl-Ex Express paints and hand-wrote "style". A ribbon charm from Making Memories with some gingham ribbon makes the square act a little like a tag. Patterned scissors are coming back into vogue so I used a pinking edge to mat the shoe image. |

This card is almost all premade; it is a gatefold from a cardmakers kit available from JoAnn's Etc stores. The tag was premade and is placed on a piece of patterned paper from the kit. I added a metal snowflake from Making Memories and a little bit of glitter glue along the lines already printed on the tag. Using silver pens, I edged the left side of the gate fold and hand-wrote the sentiment. Some sparkly ribbons finish off the tag. |

This sample is all scrapbooking supplies: patterned paper, waxy string to hold hold the beads and and a sentiment plaque from Making Memories. This was extremely quick and easy. |
