Personalizing Dominoes

Supplies:

White dominoes
Manicure filing/buffing block
Staz-On Ink Pad in black and olive
Versa-Craft markers (formly Fabrico)
Wonder tape
Art Glitter
Krylon High Gloss spray sealer
Small round magnet
Sharpie fine point pen
Glue gun
TAC stamp images

Directions:

Sand the smooth side of the domino using a four sided manicure block, sand in one direction 2-3 strokes just to put some tooth on the surface of the domino.

Using black Staz-On ink, stamp your image on the domino and let dry thoroughly.

Using Versa-Craft markers color the images using your imagination.  Let dry thoroughly.  (I found if I let the individual colors dry thoroughly before butting up another color the colors did not run together.)

After the image is colored and dry you can add  stamped grass and embellishments such as diamond dots.

Add a light sweeping spray of Krylon high gloss spray to set the color, this dries very quickly and is suggested to use outdoors.

After this is dry, I chose to further embellish.  I applied the red Wonder Tape around the side edges of the domino and rolled the edges in Art Glitter to match the coloring on the domino.  A small round magnet was applied to the back using a glue gun.

I displayed these on a magnet board that my husband engineered.  When the customer bought the domino I used a fine point Sharpie marker to write names on the dominoes. These are fun to make and easy to produce in a large quantity.
