Where have you been ?Thank you for asking. I had a serious set of traumatic issues occur in my personal life. Because of these personal matters, my entire existence was turned upside down to the extent that I was not capable of doing much except getting through one minute at a time. The process has been slow and painful, but I am in a much better place these days. I am thankful for the members support during this time, and appreciate all of the wonderful and encouraging emails, prayers, and supportive thoughts. They mean so much! Thank you.
Why the name change?Due to the changes that have taken place in my life, I no longer feel that name represents my identity. I have done a great deal of changing, and needed to have a way to put the past behind me and move forward. To some, I understand this will make absolutely no sense. That is okay. For me, I needed this change for my heart. I needed a fresh start. The name change removed a great deal of emotional baggage that was attached to it. With the name change, I have been able to define myself and begin to really live.
How are the kids?My children are now young adults. They have moved on to create their own lives. Can we say empty nest?
What are you doing these days?I work full time as a customer service representative for a cable and internet provider. I provide technical support, resolve billing issues, and assist customers in obtaining new service as well as disconnecting services. Pretty much, I talk on the phone and get paid for it. Additionally, I am enrolled as a full time student getting my BS in IT.
Where are you?Currently, I live in the Seattle area with my boyfriend Aden, and 12 Tree Frogs who are all named Bob.
What? You have a boyfriend? I thought you were married?Yes, I have a boyfriend. I am divorced.
What is next?Today, I am enjoying getting back into scrapbooking. It was too painful to look at family photos let alone scrapbook. Now I am taking new photos, making new happy memories, and scrapping away! These new adventures are just part of what I plan to share here at Pages of the Heart.
