What a welcomed challenge this ABC album was! I had never created an ABC album in all of my years of scrapbooking, and I have to say that I am totally hooked! I love Thanksgiving, so I decided to create my album based upon this most thankful holiday in a 6x6 format. Since most of my photos are very busy (lots of people and/or items in them) I decided to go with very simple pages. I used monochromatic greens and very little embellishments -- just one letter tag on each page. I did use my favorite technique on each page - tearing. Each letter of the alphabet was used to describe some aspect of a Valenzuela Thanksgiving. The content of some of the letters might apply to you, but you will find some that are very personal to me (V for Valenzuela -- might not work for all of you...LOL). Please feel free to adapt my album to your own ABC Thanksgiving album. Supplies: 3 shades of green cardstock (12x12) Letter Stickers (Creative Imaginations: David Walker) Tag Punch (EK Success: Whale of a Punch) Green ribbon Alphabet List A = Abundance B = Boys C = Carved Turkey D = David, Jr. (my son) E = Eating F = Football G = Girls H = Happy Times I = Identical Twins J = Joy K = Kid's Table L = Love M = Matthew (my son) N = Noelle (my daughter) O = Outside Oven P = Pies Q = Queen of the Kitchen R = Relatives S = Shopping T = Turkey U = Unforgettable V = Valenzuela W = Wild X = eXhausted Y = Yummy Z = Zzzzzz
