Fold the sheet of ivory cardstock in half so that is measure 8.5” x 5.5” when closed. 2. Using your adhesive, begin adhering your squares as shown in the image above. The top row will have the colors in the following order: burgundy, purple, green, and charcoal. Each square is spaced approximately 1/8” inch from the top fold of the card, each side, and each square in its row. 3. The bottom row will have colors in the following order: charcoal, green, purple, and burgundy. The bottom row is spaced approximately 1/8” inch from the bottom of the card, from each side, and from each square in its row. 4. If you have spaced your square correctly, you will have a blank area in the middle of the front of the card that is about 1.5” x 8.5”. 5. Using your favorite word processing program on your computer, open a new document window. Change your page layout so that it is landscape (sideways), rather than portrait. 6. Select your favorite font. Select a font size -- for the font I used, I had a font size of 72. Type the word “Congratulations”. Different fonts will take up a different amount of room. Change your font size as needed so that the word “congratulations” is approximately 7.5” long. 7. Print out the word “congratulations” on the vellum. Using a paper trimmer, trim the word so that is measures approximately 8” x 1.5”. 8. Place the vellum printed word at a slight slant in the middle of the card. Attach in the top right corner and in the bottom left corner with a brad. Note: As you can see, this card style can be easily altered. By simply changing the colors and the word you print, you can have a card to fit any occasion!
