This tutorial is a great example how you can take a product and
use it for a theme that the product designers probably never thought
it would be used for! Read along and find out how to create a cute
layout that will showcase your love for someone special.
Supplies:
One sheet red cardstock (12x12)
One sheet blue cardstock (12x12)
One sheet red pattern paper (12x12 - I used Colorbok: Susan Branch "Red Fleck")
One sheet Whipper Snapper Designs stickers in "Medical ER"
One sheet letter stickers (I used Creative Imaginations: David Walker "Basic ABC")
Three silver brads (I used brads by Creative Imaginations)
Drywall tape or white mesh
Layout Instructions:
1. Create three tags from the red cardstock that measure 4 1/2"
tall x 2 1/2" wide.
2. Trim pattern paper to 6" x 11 1/2". Adhere to the top of the blue
cardstock.
3. Using the red cardstock, create three photo mats that measure
3 1/2" x 5 1/2" each. Adhere on top of the pattern paper as show
in the image above.
4. Add a 1 1/2" x 2 1/2" wide strip of the pattern paper to each of the tags.
5. Add mesh to the top of each tag. Turn each tag over and trim excess mesh,
if necessary.
6. Add a silver brad near the top of each tag.
7. Apply medical stickers to tags, leaving one tag less embellished.
Adhere tags to the lower half of the layout as shown in the image above.
The tag with less stickers should be placed in the middle.
8. Apply title with letter stickers. I placed the words "Bitten by the" directly
on the blue cardstock, while the words "love bug" were placed on the middle tag.
