Makin’s Clay flower cutters
Color Box Chalk cateye ink pads (pink pastel, citrus yellow, blush rose, maroon, warm violet, Dk peony)
Eyelets (1-3/16 snowflake, 1-1/8 flower, 1-3/16 daisy)
Brads (2-mini black , 1-mini antique gold, 1-yellow flower)
Making Memories stitches (green from primary pack, forest green from classic pack and willow from watercolor muted pack)
Paper towel
Hole punch
Settling tool
Hammer
Directions:
1. Spread powder out on table and roll the clay to desired thickness.
Use the cutters to cut out the flower shapes. Let dry for 24 hours.
2. Use the chalks to color each flower like in the rose instructions.
Use paper towel to dab off excess inks. Let flowers dry completely after coloring.
3. Use hole punch to punch holes in the centers of the flowers. Use appropriate size
for the eyelet you will be using for each flower. Set each eyelet and insert the brads.
4. Cut stitches to desired length and glue to the backs of the flowers.
After glue dries, they are ready to be used on a layout. I used a couple of the
flowers as O’s in my title. Is nice to use things other than real letters to help
add variety to a layout. My clay flowers used on a layout can be seen below.
