Pages of the Heart Design Team members were challenged to do a layout based upon
people they love. While I have many people I love, I found the challenge to be a
difficult one. How would I include everyone I loved in one layout? Should I even
try to include everyone? And if I do, how do I design the page?
It is fairly typical of me to over-analyze a scrapbook challenge. So, while scrapbooking one
night, I made the decision -- I would scrapbook about three of the most important people
in my life: my children. Here is my page about the ones I love.
Supplies:
Two sheets red cardstock (12x12)
Two sheets yellow cardstock (12x12)
One sheet mustard cardstock (12x12)
One sheet 7 Gypsies pattern paper

Nostalgiliques by Rebecca Sower tea stained tag letter stickers Layout Instructions:
1. Trim 1/4" from all edges of the yellow cardstock. Evenly mount onto red cardstock.
2. Cut a piece of 7 Gypsies paper that measures approximately 4" x 12". Mount
on the right side of the yellow cardstock, letting only a small amount of red show on the
right side.
3. Cut a piece of 7 Gypsies paper that measures 5.5" x 4.75". Mount in upper left corner of
layout.
4. Mat three 4x6" photos on the mustard colored cardstock. Adhere as shown.
5. From a corner of your second sheet of red cardstock, tear off a piece and adhere in
upper right corner of layout. From leftover piece of mustard cardstock, tear off a corner
(smaller in size than the red piece) and adhere on top of red torn corner.
6. From leftover piece of 7 Gypsies paper, tear off a corner that will be placed in the
lower left of the layout, covering a portion of the bottom photo. Tuck a small leftover
piece of the 7 Gypsies paper and the mustard paper behind the bottom photo.
7. Mount letter stickers that spell "the" on a piece of yellow cardstock and then mat this
piece on red with torn edges. Mount the capital letter "I" on red, tear edges, and then mount
on yellow. Mat the "LOVE" sticker on yellow cardstock.
8. Trim a rectangle piece of mustard cardstock that measures 2.75" x 4.75". Tear off about
1/4" of the right side of this piece. Adhere the title as shown in the layout.
